Body boarding! Get on and glide across the water.

Have some free time? Definitely head out to the beach this time of year. I prefer going to Malibu's Zuma beach. The sand is like butter and the beach is fabulous. This fourth of July weekend with temperatures reaching 100F, I spent my day at Zuma beach. The Pacific Ocean although colder than the Atlantic is great and refreshing. It's a blast to coast 25 to 50 feet on water with your board. The great thing about body boarding is you don't have to be an expert to get on and glide.

Life is too short not to try this. If your living in LA then you have to try body boarding once.

The stretch of sand south of the Pacific Coast Highway and east of the Malibu Pier is known locally as Billionaire's Beach. The exclusive neighborhood includes David Geffen, Jeffrey Katzenberg, television and film producer Haim Saban, insurance and housing tycoon Eli Broad and former Mayor Richard Riordan among its property owners. Larry Ellison CEO of Oracle has been buying up several contiguous parcels of land in Malibu including commercially zoned land. Having spent over 100 million on real estate it will be interesting to see what he's going to do.
